There are many interesting ideas in this world. This blog is dedicated to pursuing them wherever they go. Politics, philosophy, religion, environment, and anything else that captures imaginations and leads to healthy discussions. Never take the world for what it is, there's always a better way to do something.

I found this story very interesting, and believe it or not, I am an avid reader and have gone through my "Chomsky phase" from time to time.

In all, what is funny is that he is so often right.

An example:

"Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media."
I think in some very real ways we have seen that with the current administration, and an outright rage towards any media outlet that does not agree or report the way they want.

He also said:

"I have often thought that if a rational Fascist dictatorship were to exist, then it would choose the American system."

Is it possible this is the kind of thought behind the current political agenda?

Good writing, and pause for thought! If I did not believe in the rights and empowerment of the individual I probably would join the cause.

But, alas, I am who I am and believe more in people than governments.

JLancaster
http://www.taxtipsfordemocrats.com

In all, what is funny is that he is so often right.

An example:

“Any dictator would admire the uniformity and obedience of the U.S. media.”
I think in some very real ways we have seen that with the current administration, and an outright rage towards any media outlet that does not agree or report the way they want.

He also said:

“I have often thought that if a rational Fascist dictatorship were to exist, then it would choose the American system.”

Is it possible this is the kind of thought behind the current political agenda?

Good writing, and pause for thought! If I did not believe in the rights and empowerment of the individual I probably would join the cause.

But, alas, I am who I am and believe more in people than governments.
